Funeral services for James Gunner Lee Gill will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Depew School Gymnasium in Depew, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Welty Cemetery. James Gunner Lee Gill was born July 23, 2001 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jimmy Gill and Tennille (Harjo) Broadbent. He passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 15. Gunner was a sophomore at Depew High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and hanging out with his friends. He also loved spending time with his girlfriend, working cattle and sports. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He is preceded in death by his uncles, Jeremy D. Gill, Teddy Harjo, Mitchell Henry and Michael Lunsford; great- grandparents, Bobby Mullinax, Sam and Jo Ann Gill and Dee Henry; his step grandmother, Ginger Bond and step grandfather, David Darnell. Survivors include his father, Jimmy Gill and wife Christina of Depew; his mother, Tennille Broadbent and husband Derek of Leedey, Oklahoma; his seven sisters, Dallas Rose Gill, Mariah Paige Gill, Alye Rose Gill, Savannah Ragina Gill, Ellie Addison Broadbent, Presley Renee Broadbent and Paisley Lynn Broadbent; paternal grandparents, Jim and Tammy Gill of Welty; maternal grandparents, Dwight and Vickie Lunsford of Okemah and Tommy Harjo of Wetumka; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Lunsford of Okemah; paternal great-grandmother, Zona Mullinax of Shawnee, Oklahoma; aunts, Kendall McCurry of Welty, Tonika Jacobs and husband Daron of Yukon, Nicole Woods and husband Lee of Fort Worth, Texas, Tisha Rosser and husband Justin of Merritt, Oklahoma, Sabrina and Kody Bergdall of Lahoma, Oklahoma; uncles, Toby Harjo of Enid, Oklahoma and Heath and Theresa Henry of Welty, Oklahoma; step grandparents, Richard and Vickie Broadbent of Leedey, Oklahoma and Barbara Pugh of Wilburton, Oklahoma and a host of cousins, extended family and dear friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Kylar Howry, Chase Nestlerode, Cody Ray Smith, Taw Henry, Dalton Henry, Michael Hauck, Mikey Davis, Timmy Bluford, Justin Rosser, Juan Cortez, Tommy Harjo, Jr. and Daron Jacobs. Viewing and visitation will be Sunday, 12:00 – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah and officiated by Bro. Terry Newell and Bro. Skip Schmelzer.
