Theresa Phyllis Page

Theresa Page, 73 of Okemah, Oklahoma passed away early Monday morning, March 27th, 2017 at the Okemah Care Center. She lost her strong fight and battle with cancer. She was born on March 14, 1944 in Billings, Montana to Joan and Kenneth Noyes. She was the oldest of four siblings, her sister Mary and brother Bobbie who have passed, and her brother Rick Noyes who resides in Okemah, Oklahoma with his wife Virginia. Theresa spent her childhood in Martinez, California. Later, her family moved to Seattle, Washington where she worked with her father in a family owned and operated restaurant. There, she met and married her first husband, Harley Schweigert. Together they had five children. At age 30 she received her CNA (certified nurse’s aide). They traveled through the years, then parted ways. Theresa remarried many years later in Davenport, Iowa to her spouse Tony Page. They resided in Iowa for many years until his passing. She then moved home to Okemah, Oklahoma to reside by her brother Rick, and sister in-law Virginia. Theresa spent her days working at Okemah Care Center. She loved the residents, who gave her great joy and pride. She loved spending her time with the elderly. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Okemah, where she found her strength, love, and peace in God. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed walking around town shopping at the local Dollar Store, yard-sales, flea markets, and reading her bible, spending her time with the Lord. She also had a strong love for her animals, and adopted many stray cats giving them a home, and love. She retired from work in her 60’s to spend time with family and enjoy life. Today she leaves behind five children: Ann & Donald Reynolds who reside at Fort Hood, Texas; Joy & Gary Utley who reside in Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Arlene Stone who resides in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Kenneth Schweigert who resides in Okemah, Oklahoma; and Gail & Marvin Tillery who reside in Okemah, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, who she had the pleasure of meeting all of them. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Services for Theresa page with be held Saturday April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Okemah, Oklahoma.
